Depuis, elle n'a jamais cessé d'être utilisée. Aujourd'hui, les inhalations sont employées sous deux formes : sèche et liquide.</span></p>

<span style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><span style="background-color: rgb(0, 204, 255);"><strong>Inhalation sèche ou liquide ?</strong></span></span></span><br />

<div id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165386" style="text-align: justify;"><span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165385" style="color:#000000;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">L'inhalation sèche</span></strong> est un mélange d'une, ou le plus souvent, de plusieurs huiles essentielles dans un excipient approprié. Employée tel que, l'utilisateur met quelques gouttes de cette solution sur son <strong>mouchoir</strong>, plusieurs fois par jour, ou sur son <strong>oreiller</strong> le soir avant de s'endormir.</span></div>

<div id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165401" style="text-align: justify;"><span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165400" style="color:#000000;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">L'inhalation liquide</span></strong> est aussi un mélange d'une ou de plusieurs huiles essentielles, ainsi que de teintures végétales, mais destinée à être mélangée à de l'eau bouillante. Cette forme nécessite un appareil appelé <strong>inhalateur</strong> ou plus couramment un <strong>bol</strong>. Lors de cette opération, l'utilisateur respire par les voies respiratoires supérieures, les principes volatils qui se dégagent de la solution active au contact de l'eau bouillante. Cependant, ce type d'inhalation utilisant la chaleur, provoque une dilatation des voies respiratoires bienfaisante qui <strong>interdit un contact avec un air plus froid</strong> qui lui entraînerait une constriction. C'est pourquoi, ces inhalations sont limitées au soir.</span></div>

<span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165732" style="color:#000000;">Sèche ou humide, l'inhalation fait appelle à des huiles essentielles dont les composants sont antiseptiques, facilement volatils et non irritants pour les voies respiratoires. Ce qui nécessite des huiles essentielles de qualité aromathérapique. Plusieurs huiles essentielles sont couramment employées dans les inhalations : l'Eucalyptus, le Thym, le Pin et la Lavande.<br />

<strong><span style="font-size: 18pt;"><span style="background-color: rgb(0, 204, 255);">Quelles Huiles Essentielles utiliser ?</span></span></strong></span><br />
</p>
<p id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165165" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color:#000000;"><span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165164"><strong id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165163"><span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165162" style="font-size: 14pt;">Huile Essentielle d'Eucalyptus </span></strong></span></span></p>
<div id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_164707" style="text-align: justify;"><span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_166232" style="color:#000000;"><span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_166231" style="font-size: 14px;"><span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_164706">L'huile essentielle d'Eucalyptus, le plus souvent <em id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_166230">Eucalyptus globulus</em>, est riche en composés terpéniques et notamment en monoterpènes, substances légères donc volatiles et ayant une action antibactérienne atmosphérique importante ; c'est pourquoi, les zones marécageuses des régions chaudes, souvent malsaines, sont plantées d'Eucalyptus. De plus, le composant principal de cette HE, l'eucalyptol, qui à lui seul représente près de 70 % de la composition générale de l'HE, est un stimulant des glandes productrices de mucus et augmente les mouvements de l'épithélium cilié de l'arbre respiratoire. De ce fait, l'Eucalyptus aseptise les voies aériennes tout en favorisant <strong>l'expectoration du mucus accumulé dans les bronches</strong>. Cette HE est aussi <strong>antitussive et légèrement fébrifuge.</strong></span></span></span></div>

<span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165905" style="font-size:14px;">Par sa composition et sa teneur en monoterpènes, toutefois plus importante, l'huile essentielle de Pin, <em>Pinus sylvestris</em>, se rapproche de celle d'Eucalyptus. Cependant, celle-ci ne contient pas d'eucalyptol, mais certains de ses composants ont une action antispasmodique. Outre ses propriétés antibactériennes, cette huile essentielle est <strong>antispasmodique et stimulante des glandes surrénales</strong>, ce qui a pour effet de <strong>stimuler la défense immunitaire</strong> de l'organisme.</span></span></span></p>

<p id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165885" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165884" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">L'HE de Thym est souvent employée. Celle-ci peut être issue de plusieurs espèces, comme <em>Thymus capitis</em>, communément appelé Thym rouge ou Origan d'Espagne, ou <em>Thymus vulgaris</em>, le Thym commun des garrigues provençales. Toutes ces espèces, n'ont pas la même composition chimique, mais toutes sont riches en composants phénoliques et notamment en thymol et en carvacrol. Ces molécules sont des antibactériens et des antifongiques très puissants. Leur action s'étend sur un grand nombre de germe et sur beaucoup de champignons pathogènes. De plus, ils ont une action <strong>spasmolytique</strong> et <strong>calme les inflammations.</strong></span></span></p>

<p id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_164902" style="text-align: justify;"><span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165892" style="color:#000000;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_164901">Sous l'appellation huile essentielle de Lavande, un certain nombre d'espèces de Lavande sont utilisées. Mais toutes ces espèces n'ont pas la même composition chimique et pas la même valeur thérapeutique. Dans le cas d'inhalation, la Lavande vraie, <em>Lavandula angustifolia</em>, est l'HE qui sera la plus appropriée. C'est une huile essentielle riche en monoterpénols et en esters terpéniques. Ces composants sont <strong id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_164900">antiseptiques</strong> mais aussi <strong>adoucissants</strong> et <strong>antispasmodiques.</strong></span></span></span></p>

<p id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165515" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span id="yui_3_5_0_1_1412675609247_165514" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Certaines formules d'inhalations utilisent aussi le menthol, cette molécule a une action anesthésiante, <strong>antibactérienne</strong> et <strong>anti-inflammatoire</strong>, mais à hautes doses ou chez des sujets sensibles, elle <strong>peut aussi provoquer des troubles respiratoires</strong>. Dans tout les cas, <strong>le menthol est interdit chez les enfants au moins jusqu'à l'âge de cinq ans</strong>. L'HE de menthe, Mentha piperita, riche en menthol est souvent plus intéressante.</span></span></p>

Peu onéreux, c'est un médicament hivernal digne de figurer dans toutes les armoires à pharmacie.</span></strong></em></span></span></p>

J'ai suggéré à une amie qui tousse depuis plusieurs semaines malgré de nombreux traitement médicamenteux, de s'acheter Eucalyptus radiata et Niaouli en diffusion et quelques gouttes en massage sur<br />
la poitrine et la gorge. C'est une toux sèche. Est-ce bon ? Elle m'a dit que ça commençait à se dégager.<br />
<br />
Y a-t'il une différence d'utilisation entre E.radiata et E.globulus ?<br />
Le thym à thujanol est-ce Thymus vulgaris. Je n'ai pas osé lui conseiller, de peur qu'elle ne fasse des imprudences car elle ne connait pas les huiles essentielles.<br />
